LoanCalcEMI is run by one person, so there is no ticket system and no phone tree — just email. I read everything that comes in.

I usually reply within 2–3 business days. If your message needs digging into (for example, verifying a calculation), it can take a little longer.

Reporting a calculation problem

If one of the calculators gives you a number that looks wrong, I want to know. The fastest way for me to reproduce it is if you include:

  • Which calculator you used (EMI, mortgage, car, personal, or education loan)
  • The exact inputs: loan amount, annual interest rate, and tenure
  • The result you got, and the result you expected (with the source, if you compared against a bank quote)

Keep in mind the calculators use the reducing-balance amortization method. If your lender quoted a flat rate, the numbers will legitimately differ — this guide on flat vs reducing balance rates explains why.

Corrections to a guide

Found a factual error, an outdated figure, or a broken link in one of the guides? Please point me to the article and the specific sentence. Confirmed errors get fixed and the article's updated date is revised — see the editorial standards page for how corrections are handled.

What I can't help with

I'm a software developer, not a licensed financial advisor, so I can't tell you whether a specific loan, lender, or refinance is right for you, and I won't recommend financial products. For personal guidance, talk to a qualified professional. If you have a complaint about a lender in the United States, the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau accepts complaints at consumerfinance.gov/complaint.

Privacy questions and everything else

Questions about data, cookies, or advertising are answered in the privacy policy; anything it doesn't cover, email me. Topic suggestions for new guides and calculator feature requests are also welcome — several existing guides started as reader emails.
